About

Hi,
My name is Egor Shvetsov,
proudly born and educated in Siberia.

I’m an AI researcher at the Applied AI Institute, specializing in making deep learning models computationally efficient. My work covers model quantization, weight and activation sparsification, neural architecture search, and LLM compression.

I also teach. I run a graduate-level course on Efficient Deep Learning at ITMO University and Yandex Data Science School, covering quantization, sparsification, NAS, and hardware-aware inference. On top of that, I occasionally help organise different events such as summer schools, or conferences.

Education: B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Physics and Materials Science from Tomsk Polytechnic University, followed by a specialisation in Data Science at HSE.

In this blog I mainly share ideas and information related to my research and teaching.
